This is a Samsung Series 6 LN40A650 that I bought in May 2008 and in Aug 2009 it started giving me problems. It starts with some horizontal random lines bursting in the screen. As times passes the lines increase. At some point the screen is filled with lines like static and the tv turns off. Then the tv turns on by itself, shows the static, you can hear sound all the time and the tv turns off again and this keeps on repeating until I disconnect the power from the TV.
